Compact Twin vertical storage lifts in the Dr. Max warehouse

We have equipped the logistics centre of the largest pharmacy chain Dr. Max in Nučice near Prague with two powerful Compact Twin vertical storage lifts with a double elevator, which enables up to twice as fast picking of hundreds of items of pharmaceutical and drugstore goods. The trays are divided by plastic dividers for clear storage of items, allowing for faster picking. The picking process of each item is confirmed by a handheld scanner. The handover of the project also included training of the service staff.

The Compact Twin vertical storage lifts delivered are 9,926 mm high and contain 113 trays with a load capacity of 300 kg, a width of 3,660 mm and a depth of 820 mm. The height of the trays is 125 mm. Thanks to the Twin technology lift, where the lower shelf is stored under the drive, maximum use can be made of the internal storage space. There is 339.14 m2 of storage space in each vertical storage lift. The machines have a guaranteed picking speed of 108 operations per hour and per machine, which equates to 1,512 operations per day.
